Dear customer,
Are you organizing a tasting for the first time? Here are 5 tips to ensure a delightful and convival experience:

1/ Choose the glasses

Please, don’t overlook this point. Glasses are a very important feature of wine tasting. How do you recognize good wine glasses? Two requierements must be respected:
- First, it must be a stemmed glass, this prevents your hands from warming the wine.
- Secondly, a good wine glass must have a wide shape in the middle then gets thinner at the top so as to concentrate the aromas.

2/ Pour wines at an appropriate temperature

When you open bottles, wines should be at 16°c / 60° Farenheit so that gold and blue bottles will get a little bit warmer during tasting.

In summer, don’t hesitate to put bottles in chilled water with a dozen ice cubes to avoid wine temperatures rising above 20°c / 68° Farenheit.

3/ Hide the evidence

In spite of our efforts, sometimes evidence of wine origins is still visible, especially on corks. Once bottles are opened, be sure to hide corks from other players’ view.
